We are very proud to be a RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons) accredited Small Animal Hospital with the highest accreditation (‘Tier 3’) for standards. These include our offering 24-hour care for hospitalised animals, the provision of 24-hour emergency cover and an extensive range of modern diagnostic and surgical equipment.

Parking and Access

The hospital has a large and convenient free car park with parking for plenty of vehicles. There are two disabled driver spaces and easy ground floor access. Waiting Areas

The waiting room has a large seated area for dogs and their owners and a separate area for cats (and other small pets). The main reception desk is situated in the waiting area. Accounts and dispensary

To the side of the waiting area is accounts and dispensary. Clients leave the hospital via this area allowing them to pay their bill and to collect medicines and other products.   The shop is situated in this area selling pet food, toys and a range of pet care products. learn more

Dispensary

Behind the consulting rooms is a large dispensary area, this also links to the accounts reception allowing us to prepare and dispense medication both for use during consultations and for owners to take home. learn more

 

Preparation (Prep) Room

The prep room is the hub of the practice. This is where animals are first seen on admission, where day patients recover and where minor non-surgical procedures are carried out. Surgical preparation area

Diagnostics and treatment room

The diagnostic and treatment room is adjacent to the prep area. The large theatre can only be accessed from the theatre corridor. X-ray

In terms of equipment, our x-ray suite is the most modern areas of the hospital. We have a powerful x-ray machine that allows us to take x-ray pictures of all types of pets. Kennels

As well as the heated recovery kennels in the prep room area we have four other main kennelling areas. Laboratory

The laboratory is situated on the second floor of the hospital and allows us to carry out a wide range of tests, in most cases giving us results within a few minutes.
