X-ray

In terms of equipment, our x-ray suite is the most modern areas of the hospital. We have a powerful x-ray machine that allows us to take x-ray pictures of all types of pets. The moving x-ray table-top allows us to position the pet accurately without any unnecessary movement or distress. X-ray pictures are recorded and processed digitally and are viewed on a computer screen. Digital technology allows us to take the perfect picture each time by adjusting the computer settings rather than needing to expose the pet to further radiographs.

For health and safety reasons it is very unusual for x-rays to be taken without some form of light sedative or anaesthesia.
