Preparation (Prep) RoomThe prep room is the hub of the practice. This is where animals are first seen on admission, where day patients recover and where minor non-surgical procedures are carried out. It is in the prep room that animals requiring surgical procedures are first anaesthetised, have hair clipped and prepared for surgery. After leaving surgery they return to this area where they can be easily observed by a veterinary nurse and recover in heated kennels. back to facilities |
