Quantock Veterinary Hospital has a motivated and valued team providing excellent patient care and aiming for exceptional client service. We have approximately twenty people working at the hospital which is owned and run by two veterinary directors. The directors are assisted by three additional veterinary surgeons each with their own areas of expertise.
The Nursing Team, run by Head Nurse Jo Lewis, has a critical and increasingly responsible role. The team now consists of seven registered nurses and four trainee nurses.

Reception and Administrative Staff
The vets and nurses are supported by a team of seven reception and administrative staff.
Head of Client Services is Lyn. She has worked for us since 1998 and is responsible for all the personnel and office management, however you will also see her on reception most mornings. Lyn has a rescued pet dog called Freddie.
The practice finances and book-keeping are administered by Jackie in the office. Jackie also occasionally acts as an additional receptionist
Our administrative assistant Becky is our longest serving staff member and came with Colin from Smith and partners to set up the practice that became Quantock Veterinary Hospital. Becky is responsible for ordering, stock control and the shop area of the hospital. She also has the job of assisting clients with insurance claims. Becky is kept busy at home with her own dog,cat and various 'small furries'.
Our four receptionists are Sam, Julie, and Sharon. Although Sam just works part time for us on reception she is also a Qualified Veterinary Nurse and worked in practice in Taunton and for West Hatch wildlife centre before becoming a busy mum and owner of Barney the Jack Russell and Smog the cat.
